The studio complex expanded in phases over the following years, adding additional soundstages to meet growing demand, and became one of the anchors of Toronto's film and television production sector alongside other studio facilities across the city. Its presence helped Toronto compete more directly with production hubs like Vancouver and Atlanta for large-scale international productions, reinforcing the city's position as one of North America's largest film and television production centres outside Los Angeles and New York.
